RULES & NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

ALL ENTRIES TO BE SUBMITTED ON THE OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM BY THE CLOSING DATE


PLEASE NOTE: The show premises is a Non-Smoking & Non-Vaping area
No Dogs Except Assistance Dogs allowed on the show premises


CATTLE AND SHEEP EXHIBITS
to be tethered/penned between 8.00 and 10.00am
JUDGING will commence at 10.30am promptly for Cattle & 10.15am for Sheep.
All other exhibits to be in place by 9.30am for judging to commence promptly
Farm Crops and Vegetable Entries may be staged on Friday 13th November approx. 6.00 – 8.00 pm.

PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES
– 3.00pm.
ENTRANCE FEES Cattle – £4 and Sheep – £2 per entry
EXHIBITS MUST NOT be removed before 4.00pm LIVESTOCK may leave at 3.30pm
EXHIBITORS may only make two entries in the same class, unless otherwise stated
POINTS will be awarded as follows: – 1st 3 points, 2nd 2 points, 3rd 1 point – in the event of a tie, the winner will be the exhibitor with the most 1st prizes. The decision of the sub-committee will be final

THE SOCIETY
will not accept any responsibility for any accidents or loss that may occur, and Exhibitors must recognize this as a condition of entry.
Livestock Exhibitors must have adequate public liability insurance for the show – minimum £5,000,000
THE SOCIETY reserves the right to exclude and remove any animal unruly & fractious
THE SOCIETY reserves the right to exclude and remove any animal showing signs of disease or illness
All Exhibitor electrical equipment must be PAT tested, electrical appliances only be used in designated area
Photographs will be taken on show day and may be used for publicity and social media, acceptance of this a condition of entry, excludes children without express permission.

In case of doubt, dispute or protest
, such protests are to be given in writing to the Secretary before the presentation of the Cups. Any person making a protest must at the time deposit £20 which will be refunded on his producing satisfactory evidence in support of the protest, but should he not sustain the protest the amount will be forfeited to the funds of the Society. The decision of the sub-committee in all cases is final. (Head of section plus 2 committee members will form the sub-committee)
The false representation of any entry will result in elimination and if applicable reported to the relevant authority. Failure to comply with these rules could result in the disqualification from entering future shows for a period of time at the committee’s discretion
The Committee reserves the right to amalgamate any classes due to insufficient entries and amend any class details due to typing errors in the schedule.
The Committee reserves the right to cancel the livestock section of the show at any time, best efforts will be made to notify exhibitors as soon as possible should this occur.

All cups and plates remain the property of Helston Fatstock Society and must be returned prior to the next annual show, with exception of the Presidents trophy.
Once presented it is the responsibility of the winner to keep trophies in their safe custody, insure trophies against loss or damage, engrave and care for, return the trophies in a clean, undamaged state.
THE SOCIETY reserves the right to charge for any trophy not returned or not returned in a good condition

ALL TROPHIES WON MUST BE SIGNED FOR – MAY NOT BE LOANED TO BUTCHERS OR OTHER 3RD PARTIES
