Show Sections

Livestock

The Livestock Section is an integral part of the Helston Fatstock Show and welcomes exhibitors from any area. Exhibitors travel across the extent of Cornwall, to exhibit their finest stock and enjoy the friendly competitive atmosphere that the show has become renowned for over the years.

The livestock judging takes place throughout the morning of the show, and visitors to the show get the opportunity to see the livestock being prepared for the show ring and watch the expertise of the livestock exhibitors showing their animals at their best. The judges have always remarked on the outstanding quality of the stock on show.

The Helston Fatstock Show has a range of Cattle classes, attracting different breeds of cattle, whilst the sheep section has classes for Native and Continental breeds of Sheep, to include, Butchers Lambs and Breeders Ewe Lambs, and allocating space to accommodate both MV and Non-MV Sheep to be shown in all classes.
